The other day I dropped in to see David and Rose Viaene at their new Riverview Country Market on the corner of Riverside Dr. and Exhibition Dr. in Charlottetown. KJL Select Meats has just set up shop there and the place looks and feels great. It is well stocked with some great produce, preserves, breads, and an awesome meat counter. This is a great market, and now my new place to buy fresh Island food products.

Cavendish Grove is a must do/see. Pack a lunch and a beach towel, hitch the bike to the car and head out to ex-Rainbow Valley. The trails are fun and full of things to see. Lots of birds, trees, sand dunes, waterways wild roses and beautiful seascapes. Don’t forget to take your camera. Any summer company I have from here on in, is going to Cavendish Grove for a real treat. Cavendish Grove doesn’t have a website yet but Parks Canada website has a wee blurb about the trails at Cavendish Grove.
