I have published this photo before. I can’t help but post it again.A couple of years ago while I was cycling around the Niagara Falls Region I came upon this site at the Falls. As I took this photo part of me felt like a journalist who was exploiting the subject while they unknowingly sat in a danger zone.

Do you see what I see?

Clear warnings… but no one who cares. A child plays freely as the family picnics while those who posted the sign have gone on to the next spray job. What good is the sign if those who the sign is intended to warn are not educated as to the dangers of these chemicals.

And what about the seagull?

I will never forget this image.
